About me
My interest is in developmental & psychological studies, especially in children, adolescents and youth population. I am interested in improving well-being of all age population. My work spans across child psychology, adolescents psychology and youth psychology.
Currently, I am interested in answering the major question of: What and how to contribute to well-being of children, adolescents and youth? Well-being includes mental health, life satisfaction, non-substance addiction, positive development etc. I am interested in understanding well-being from various perspectives, including individual and socio-emotional factors (parents, peers, grandparents, teachers, school environment, and others). My study interests include both typical and atypical development. Studies on psychological tools validation are of my interest too.
I am currently an Assistant Professor in University of Nottingham Malaysia. I am actively seeking collaborators for various studies.

Media engagement
I am interested in bridging the gap between academia and public. I am a regular columnist of Pumen Magazine, 《普门》. The title of my column is Voice of Child, 倾听童音。 I have been speaking in various local media platforms, including FM, TV channels and online news, such as 8TV, TV2, and Pocketimes.
Consultations
I provide workshops and consultations to schools to educate children and adolescents on various topics essential to their positive development. I have provided talks and workshops in both public and private schools in Malaysia. Some of the recent school engagement including Kuen Cheng High School, KL and Chung Hwa High School, KL. I also served as industrial advisor in Southern University College, JB. I have been involved in reviewing programs and curriculum for all levels of studies (from primary up to tertiary level). I have also provided training on SPSS and Structural Equations Modeling (SEM) in university settings.
